This is the book we have read that is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. 00:00:06
The author was Mark Haddon, that he was born in Northampton in 1962. 00:00:12
He graduated from Just for University in 1981 and during his career 00:00:17
he worked with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities and he also worked as an illustrator for magazines. 00:00:21
His first children book was Gilbert Gustuper followed by other many children books and also illustrated their own books. 00:00:29
He won two BAFTA awards and also collaborated in television and TV shows. 00:00:36
In 2003, his book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time was published. 00:00:43
It had a great success and won a lot of awards, such as the Whitbread Book in 2003. 00:00:50
Mark Haddon also teaches creative writing for the Arbonne Foundation and Oxford University. 00:00:56
The main characters are Christopher, he is special, he loves maths, he is 15 years old, 00:01:02
he has a rat called Toby and he lives with his father. 00:01:13
He thought that his mother was dead but she wasn't. 00:01:18
He is a very good friend of Wellington, he loves prime numbers and he is very clever. 00:01:23
The mom, that is Christopher's mother, he went to London, her boyfriend is Mr. Rogers, and at the end lives with Christopher. 00:01:30
Father, that is Christopher's father, he killed Wellington with a fork, he hides a lot of secrets, he said Christopher that his mother was dead but it wasn't, and is friend of Mr. Sears. 00:01:41
And Wellington, that is a black poodle, that dies because Christopher's father killed him with a fork. 00:01:53
The story is about one child whose name is Christopher. He liked math and one day he was in the garden of his neighbor and saw the dog, the wedding dog that was killed. 00:02:00

The best thing about this book is that it is a very interesting book, but starting from the book, for all the class, it has been a very good book. 00:04:09
It is a very interesting book and we have learned a lot of things. 00:04:18
It is so different from other books because the chapters are written in numbers. 00:04:23

This book is very interesting because it shows us how other people might and can think, it shows us 00:04:40
that people with autism must be treated the same as you and me and it also shows that everybody is 00:04:46
the same. Okay and this book inspired us to to look for more mysteries of our own and we hope 00:04:54
