Hi! This is a task that I have designed and actually put into practice with my fourth

task objectives. Students will have to produce a mystery story, but before they do that,

this task will give students an opportunity to share their own personal experiences with

mystery stories and discuss the features of this particular type of writing looking at

module texts. This will catch their attention and motivation. Students can choose from three choices

in order to produce their final product. It is important to mention the differentiation

strategies used. The module texts and support sheets are differentiated and the teacher and

assistant will circulate, providing support, prompts and guidance. They will do the task in

class, then peer assess it and give each other feedback looking at a rubric. Finally, students

will carry out improvements, polish it at home and share it with the teacher for
