Hola, mi nombre es Begoña y a continuación voy a mostrar la evidencia número dos de las evidencias optativas. 00:00:00
So today we are going to watch a little bit about our timeline about Unit 5 and 6 regarding early and ancient history. 00:00:15
So first of all we have the prehistory in which we have three ages. Prehistory we have 1, 2 and 3. 00:00:27
So we have Paleolithic, Neolithic and Metal Ages. In Paleolithic they lived in caves and they were nomads. 00:00:39
We have to remember that word nomads and in the Neolithic they start to be sedentary which means that they lived in the same place. 00:00:51
In the Paleolithic they moved from one place to another in order to find food, to find a place to sleep. 00:01:06
But in the Neolithic period they started to live in villages, they started to grow crops and they started to domesticate animals. 00:01:19
So after that we start in the Metal Ages. In the Metal Ages they started to create weapons and tools in order to hunt animals. 00:01:38
Before the Metal Ages the weapons and tools were made of stones and here they started to build these weapons with metal like bronze for example. 00:01:54
And this age finishes with the invention of writing. So the invention of writing starts, so for that reason we say that the history begins. 00:02:09
And we start with the ancient history in which some civilizations like for example Egypt, Greece and Rome were created. 00:02:23
And this history, this age ends with the fall of the Roman Empire and then we are in the year 476 in which the Metal Ages starts. 00:02:35
And in the Middle Ages we had a feudal system. So in the top of the pyramid was the king and then the gentlemen, the ladies, after that the basils like for example the farmers. 00:02:52
And at the end of the pyramid there were the slaves. So they worked for nothing. This age finishes with the discovery of America in 1492. 00:03:10
And it starts in the Modern Ages. In the Modern Ages they started to travel and to have some trips through worlds. So for that reason they discovered America and other places. 00:03:27
And finally we have the Contemporary Age which starts and it didn't finish yet because we are living in the Contemporary Age. 00:03:45
Contemporary Age 00:04:15
