Hello everybody. Okay, this is a short presentation to explain to you one of the parts of unit 9 grammar, 00:00:00
which is the future but expressed in present continuous. Okay, so pay attention. 00:00:07
So, let's remember the use of the present continuous, el presente continuo. 00:00:14
We normally use the present continuous to express actions we're doing at the moment. 00:00:18
For example, I could say, now, at the moment, I'm talking to you, I'm recording a video. 00:00:22
Acciones que están ocurriendo en el momento actual 00:00:28
So let's remember how we use it 00:00:31
How we form it, sorry 00:00:34
The subject, any subject 00:00:36
You, we, they, he, she, my father, my mother, my friends, the dog 00:00:38

Followed by the verb to be 00:00:46
But the verb to be has to be adapted to the subject 00:00:48

The moment I add a future particle to the present continuous, I can use it to express future plans. 00:01:24
Ok, so it's the present continuous, el presente continuo no cambia, pero si le añado una partícula de futuro, tomorrow, next week, next summer, my next holidays, en ese momento el uso del presente continuo tiene una intención de futuro, aunque no cambia en su formación. 00:01:34
La única diferencia es que yo puedo decir I'm talking to you now, estoy hablando ahora, o I'm talking to you tomorrow, ¿vale? 00:01:51
Hablaré, no hablaré, voy a hablar con vosotros mañana, ¿ok? 00:02:02
So it depends on the future particle, ¿ok? 00:02:10
We can use it as well in interrogative, we change the order, are you dancing tomorrow? 00:02:13

continuous followed by a future time expression. For example, well, my holiday plans. I'm swimming 00:03:22
in the pool. I'm eating loads of ice cream. I'm reading a good book. I'm going camping. 00:03:29
Next holidays, tomorrow, next summer. Okay, so this is the use of the present continuous with 00:03:36
