This is the liver and the small intestine. 00:00:22

Now, Zuba is going to read to us a little summary of the digestion. 00:00:27
Digestion is the process of breaking down food into nutrients that our body can use. 00:00:36
It normally takes our body 24 to 28 hours to digest food. 00:00:43
Digestion takes place in the digestive system. 00:00:50
Now Ariadna is going to read to us the first step of digestion. 00:00:54
It begins in the mouth where a tree breaks down food that mixes with saliva that comes from salivary glands making a mixture called bolus. 00:01:01
Then the food goes down to the esophagus. 00:01:11

The nebulosa rids the stomach with the body's gastric juices, these juices break down the 00:01:19
food, even further forming a tick-meister chelicina. 00:01:26

The chelicina travels to the small intestine, which produces intestinal juices. 00:01:35
These juices combine with bile, produced in the liver, and pancreatic juices, produced in the pancreas. 00:01:42
The tube turns into a milky liquid called teal. 00:01:50

In the large intestine, water is absorbed and the remaining undigested food parts turn into solid faces. 00:02:00
