Carnival is a special day that we dress up for during the day. We dance and we do activities.

Last year we had candy, dressed up in costumes, we made masks and we did a park.

We did face painting, we wore different shields, we dressed up in our pyjamas and we did crazy hair.

Last year, Kate dressed up as a lot of things like animals, movie characters and monsters.

This year the L.O. grade is dressing up as the Lord of the Rings.

This year the Royal School is dressing up as movie characters.

Why are we dressing up as the Lord of the Rings?

We are dressing up as the Lord of the Rings because all the grades in school are dressing up as different movies.

First grade is dressing up as Lilo and Stitch, second is dressing up as Kung Fu Panda, third and fourth grade are dressing up as Harry Potter and sixth grade is dressing up as Raga Twin.

And then we have a competition to determine who interpret the movie the best.

This year Carnival is celebrated from February 10th to February 14th.

But the date of Carnival they change year because Carnival is always 7th Sunday before.
