Descargar la transcripción

Our school belongs to a neighborhood of Getafe called Sector 3 and it is very close to another called Buena Vista. 00:00:00
The most pupils in the school come from one of these two areas. In these two neighborhoods there are many places we love visiting. 00:00:13
There are wide avenues, bike lanes and green areas everywhere. 00:00:24
The power of the land, where you can enjoy a picnic with your family or friends. 00:00:35
There are two big sports centres and some big football pitches in Sector 3 in the Buenavista neighborhood. 00:00:49
We are healthy people in our neighborhood. 00:01:00
This is the football club Brunete. 00:01:05
There is a very special place in our neighborhood because of its wonderful view. 00:01:11
For this reason, we call it Buena Vista Hill. 00:01:26
Its name is Cerro Buena Vista because it is very high. 00:01:44
There are a lot of facilities in our neighbourhood too, such as the Civic Centre, 00:02:08
where a lot of people of all ages can learn and practice a lot of activities. 00:02:12
There is a theatre, virtual and a library, where we can borrow books and things. 00:02:19
We used to come to study with our classmates, here too, before the COVID pandemic. 00:02:24
Next to the Civic Center, we find the Music Conservatory, where many kids in Getafe study music and where by the end of every school, there are the pupils in Enrique Terno Galván. 00:02:31
Celebrate a music festival for our mates' families. 00:02:53
You can find a big shopping centre in Sector 3. 00:03:00
It is Cajet Getafe 3. 00:03:04
There are lots of shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bars. 00:03:06
Next to our school there is a police station. 00:03:26
They have a go-kart track inside. 00:03:31
This is the go-kart track. 00:03:37
We come here every year to learn about traffic rules. 00:03:45
But since here it's not possible, we have to wait for better times. 00:03:50
Getafe, our city, is quiet and big town, 00:03:57
with more than 8,000 inhabitants to work specially. 00:04:01
This is the reason with important giant companies such as the European 00:04:18
And long ago, Getafe used to be a commuter city 00:04:30
in where most of its inhabitants worked in Madrid city. 00:04:57
Nowadays, many people living in Getafe 00:05:02
work in Getafe as well. 00:05:06
Moreover, there are hundreds of people 00:05:09
moving every day to come to work in Getafe 00:05:12
due to how this, or sitcoms, 00:05:15
form a great network of roads 00:05:18
to connect it with other cities 00:05:21
and, of course, with Madrid, 00:05:25
the capital, such as this one, 00:05:27
called A42, 00:05:30
Equal! 00:05:34
Also, there is an underground line. 00:05:36
This stop is Getafe Central. 00:05:54
Here, ramp trains and metro trains are used by lots of people every day in our city. 00:05:57
Safe trains are coming every 5 or 10 minutes. 00:06:03
Metro lines connect Getafe to most of the biggest cities in the south of Madrid. 00:06:08
And using Run for Trains, a citizen in Getafe can be in the centre of Madrid in only 20 minutes. 00:06:14
