very healthy, does he? Sam has given up smoking. Now he doesn't smoke anymore. We use didn't used 00:00:47
to to talk about something that wasn't true or didn't happen in the past and now does happen. 00:01:03
He didn't use to speak English, but he studied a lot and he learnt and he practised and now he does speak English. 00:01:12
And he looks quite hungry, doesn't he? 00:01:30
To ask a question, we say, did you use to... 00:01:37
For example, did you use to live in Vidalba? 00:01:42
Yes, I did. 00:01:46
Or no, I didn't. 00:01:48
