Yes, there's even death 00:00:23

They say that in Wuhan, after so many years of noise, you can hear the birds again. 00:00:28
They say that after just a few weeks of quiet, the sky is no longer thick with fumes, but blue and grey and clear. 00:00:35
They say that in the streets of Assisi, people are singing to each other across the empty squares, 00:00:46
keeping the windows open so that those who are alone may hear the sounds of family around them. 00:00:52
They say that a hotel in the west of Ireland is offering free meals and delivery to the 00:00:59
housebound. Today a young woman I know is busy spreading flyers with her number through the 00:01:05
neighborhood so that the elders may have someone to call on. Today churches, synagogues, mosques 00:01:12
and temples are preparing to welcome and shelter the homeless, the sick, the weary. 00:01:19
All over the world, people are slowing down and reflecting. All over the world, people 00:01:27
are looking at the neighbours in a new way. All over the world, people are waking up to 00:01:34
a new reality, to how big we really are, to how little control we really have, to what 00:01:39
really matters to love so we pray and we remember that yes there is fear but it doesn't have to be 00:01:46
hate yes there is isolation but it doesn't have to be loneliness yes there's panic buying but it 00:01:56
doesn't have to be meanness yes there's sickness but it doesn't have to be disease of the soul 00:02:05
Yes, there's even death 00:02:13
But there can always be a rebirth of love 00:02:16
Wake to the choices you make 00:02:19
As to how to live now 00:02:22
Today, breathe 00:02:24
Listen 00:02:27
Behind the factory noises of your panic 00:02:28
The birds are singing again 00:02:31
The sky is clearing 00:02:33
Spring's coming 00:02:35
And we're always encompassed by love 00:02:37
Open the windows of your soul 00:02:41
