How an electric circuit works

Descargar la transcripción

Hello, we are going to talk to you about our project. 00:00:00
It is a mixture of a windmill and a lighthouse. 00:00:03
We are the group B of Primera de la ESO Day. 00:00:07
Our names are Manuel, Daniel, Nayán, Eva and Teo. 00:00:10
We have done this project to show you how electricity works. 00:00:16
We are going to tell you what a circuit does. 00:00:20
A circuit transforms electrical energy into a different kind of energy. 00:00:24
A circuit has four components, power source, conductors, load devices and control devices. 00:00:30
This is how the project works. 00:00:38
It has two different circuits. 00:00:41
In this circuit we transform chemical energy from the power source to electrical energy. 00:00:43
Then the busser transforms it into sound energy. 00:00:49
Each power source is a cell of 4.5 volts. 00:00:53
A power source is a component that supplies energy to the rest of the circuit. 00:00:56
The conductors are wires made up of bronze. 00:01:02
They transport the energy from the power source to the load devices. 00:01:06
The control device is a normally open push switch. 00:01:11
The control device is a device that makes the circuit be open or closed. 00:01:15
When it is not pressed, the load device doesn't work. 00:01:20
But when it is pressed, the circuit becomes closed and the load devices work. 00:01:24
There is another circuit. 00:01:30
The generator transforms the eolic energy into electrical energy. 00:01:32
The cell transforms chemical energy to electrical energy. 00:01:39
All the electrical energy works together to produce light energy. 00:01:43
It consists of a cell of 1.5 volts and a generator as power sources. 00:01:48
The generator is a motor that works as a power source, because the movement of the blade produces energy, like an electric central. 00:01:55
The conductors are bronze wires. 00:02:03
The load device is a red led. 00:02:07
It works as a conductor under 2 volts, but as a load device over 2 volts. 00:02:10
That's why it is a semiconductor. 00:02:16
The generator is imposed by a hair dryer. 00:02:19
The cell is used to add more energy for the LED to light. 00:02:23
We hope you like it. 00:02:28
Bye! 00:02:30
