Hello, I'm Diego. And I'm Sergio.
00:00:05
And we are going to explain our scientific experiment about the carbon microphone.
00:00:08
This experiment is based on the first carbon microphone that Thomas Edison created.
00:00:16
For this experiment we are going to use the graphite of a battery like this one, the graphite of a pencil, a petaca battery, some wires, an amplifier and some metal plates so we can make contact.
00:00:25
And in this box we have the graphite from a battery. So we are going to pretend to make with the sound waves to make pressure in the graphite.
00:00:51
so that connecting with the wires and making pressure, we can make sound in this amplifier.
00:01:16
This experiment is based on the Onslow, and our hypothesis is that the resistance can change, so the intensity can also change.
00:01:27
So now that we have finished constructing our experiment, we have used finally the amplifier, the petaka battery, some wires, two metal pieces here and all the graphite from the big batteries and from the pencils.
00:01:43
So now what we are going to do is to make this experiment work. So Sergio. So the sound, the sound waves are being through the wires and it's getting to the amplifier and the amplifier is producing the sound.
00:02:09
So this is how a cold microphone works. So this is our project.
