The following learning situation is addressed to 1st ESO students and it has been designed to work on the festivity of Halloween.

This project consists on recording and editing a video in groups about a horror story.

The students must follow different steps. First they have to write the script of a horror story and send it to the teacher via Aula Virtual EducaMadrid.

Then they have to rehearse, record and edit the video and upload it on the link they find in their Aula Virtual.

The assessment will be done by displaying the video in class, the teacher will use a rubric

to assess it and the rest of the students will vote for the first project using Padlet.

The objectives of this activity are to promote communicative, linguistic, plurilingual competence

as well as digital competence, develop oral and written skills and acquire new vocabulary.
