Tell me, Max, how was your Erasmus experience?
00:00:02
It was very nice. Also, we get to learn a lot of new people, especially from another country.
00:00:05
Would you recommend it to anyone?
00:00:12
Yeah, I would recommend it, definitely.
00:00:14
Okay, now tell me, how was the day in school here?
00:00:17
It was quite interesting to get to learn, like, a normal school day in another country because it's quite different to a German school day.
00:00:21
And what did you do during the evenings after school?
00:00:30
I usually met with my friends and other people from Spain here in Madrid.
00:00:34
Yeah, that's great. How about the weekends?
00:00:39
Yeah, on the weekends I usually went out with families or did something with my friends also in the evening.
00:00:42
And did anything about the school catch your attention?
00:00:52
Yeah, kind of like if you only have one break here, like in Germany we have two breaks in the whole school day.
00:00:57
Okay, so tell me something negative about school that you disliked.
00:01:06
I disliked that the classes are like 55 minutes and not much.
00:01:11
What's your relationship with your exchange partner?
00:01:16
I think it's very good. We got quite close here.
00:01:23
And how about with your exchange partners and family?
00:01:30
Yeah, also very good. They're very nice people and I enjoy it here very much.
00:01:34
And have you met a lot of people here in Spain?
00:01:41
Yeah, definitely. Because also it's like our second time here, so I know a few Spanish people here.
00:01:43
And what's the thing you missed most about Germany?
00:01:51
I would say probably football, because here you can play for free on the pitch and you need to go smaller with concrete.
00:01:56
And what's the thing you like most about Borussia Dortmund?
00:02:10
think it's a lot of going on like in the evenings there are a lot of people on
00:02:13
the streets yeah and the weather
00:02:21
did you make the guy before coming here to Spain sort of to know what you should
00:02:26
do once you're here no would you yeah definitely so what would you different
00:02:34
What would you do differently if you were here again?
00:02:43
No, I think I would do everything the same.
00:02:47
Nothing to complain about.
00:02:52
And what would you say to a friend to convince him to go to an Erasmus experience?
00:02:55
I think I would convince him that important experiences for your life,
00:03:04
to get to know new cultures and new people.
00:03:09
And finally, tell me your Erasmus experience in one sentence.
00:03:14
Hmm, like, it's hard.
00:03:19
Then, nice, inspiring, and fun.
00:03:28
Okay, hello, I am Hugo.
00:03:35
Hello, I'm Ben.
00:03:43
He's my exchange partner from Hamburg,
00:03:44
and I'm going to make him some questions.
00:03:46
How was the experience here in the Netherlands?
00:03:48
The experience was very good because I have been here one time and I was looking forward to get here back one day and it was really great to be here again.
00:03:51
It was a really nice experience.
00:04:04
Would you recommend it to your friends for example?
00:04:06
Yes, for sure. Because you get to know many more people and it's cool to have contact to someone who's not living in the same country like you.
00:04:09
Tell us about the day in school here in Spain.
00:04:19
It's a bit different, but I like it. I think it's partly a more chill than in Germany and we don't have to do so much here.
00:04:22
so I like it and it's cool to see how school is worked out in a different country, so it's cool.
00:04:32
Tell us about the evenings in Boadilla too.
00:04:39
The evenings in Boadilla are also fun.
00:04:42
Sometimes, so last week we went to a bar and watched football
00:04:45
and it's funny to see there are Madrid and Atletico fans here
00:04:50
and the evenings here are always fun
00:04:54
because every time, everywhere is something going on.
00:04:58
What do you usually do at the weekends?
00:05:03
At the weekends we did trips with your family and it was very cool.
00:05:07
We went to Madrid, visited the center and the city.
00:05:12
We watched football together and I watched your basketball games.
00:05:19
What's the thing that catch more your attention about this school?
00:05:24
What's the thing that catch my attention about the school?
00:05:29
I think just like that it's a different country and how just to learn how different school systems can be
00:05:34
What's the thing you didn't like about this school?
00:05:46
I think I didn't like that I can't go to toilet whenever I want.
00:05:49
It's in Germany, it's different and that like, I think like the, it's like very, it's like a cage that you can't get out if you want.
00:05:53
I think that too.
00:06:06
And then, tell me about the different things you find between this school and your school in Hamburg.
00:06:08
different things are so the school starts at different times our lessons
00:06:15
are longer we always got 90 minutes but then more breaks and I just think we
00:06:21
have a different system like the marks are different and how the class are built up
00:06:30
and how is your relationship your relation with the George thing very good
00:06:38
and I'm very happy with them and yeah yeah I'm thankful that I got I'm with
00:06:44
this for me yes very good very good the mother of my
00:06:51
exchange partners a very good cooker and yes and have you met all the students
00:06:56
from here, from Spain? Yes, I remember many people from the last time I've been here and
00:07:06
so I was very excited to see them all again. What's the thing you missed the most from
00:07:12
Germany? From Germany, I think some of my friends because I didn't see them for three
00:07:21
weeks and my dog, my family a bit, only a bit. Okay, what's the thing you like most
00:07:27
And that exactly that everywhere I go it's a bench and I can sit there and have a good time and the weather is perfect here.
00:07:35
So did you make a research before coming to Spain?
00:07:44
No, I knew what is expecting me.
00:07:49
Ok, if you repeat this example, what would you do different?
00:07:53
would you do different? I think I would take other courses because I chose the wrong ones
00:07:59
but except that everything is fine. And would you recommend the Syracuse experience to another
00:08:06
family? Yes, because it's a great experience and you learn how to speak better English
00:08:13
and how to get connected with new people and to be in a family that's not your family
00:08:22
and it's a great experience and I think it helps you in your life for the future.
00:08:30
Okay, and for last, can you resume your Erasmus experience in one sentence?
00:08:35
A great experience, I would do it again.
00:08:40
Thank you.
