Una pequeña explicación sobre lo que es un ecosistema y sus elementos.
Hello kids, in this lesson we are going to talk about ecosystems.
00:00:00
There are many different ecosystems around the world, but what is an ecosystem?
00:00:07
Well, it's very easy. An ecosystem is an area where living and non-living things live and interact among them.
00:00:15
An ecosystem can be as big as an ocean and as small as a little pond.
00:00:25
We have said that there are living and no living things in an ecosystem.
00:00:35
Well, living things are also called biotic factors, like the plants and animals that we can see marked with an arrow in this picture.
00:00:42
No living things are also called abiotic factors, like water, rocks, sand, etc., that are marked with an arrow in the picture.
00:00:53
Here we can see more examples of biotic and abiotic factors.
00:01:07
Biotic factors or living things are the fauna and the flora.
00:01:13
Fauna are animals, like a dog, a frog, a crab, a bee, etc.
00:01:18
And flora are plants, like trees, buses, grass, flowers, etc.
00:01:24
An abiotic factor, or no living things, are things like rocks, water, the sun, or buildings.
00:01:31
In the next lesson, we will see the different types of ecosystems that are around the world.
00:01:41
See you the next day!
