Today we're going to talk about one very important human right. The right to education. Let me start with a question. Who came today to school by choice? Raise your hand. 00:00:02
And another one. Who has ever said, I don't feel like going to school today? That's completely normal. But being here is not just something you have to do, it's actually a right. 00:00:15
Every child in the world should be able to go to school, learn, and build their future. 00:00:38
Education gives you knowledge, helps you understand the world, and teaches you how to think. 00:00:46
Without education, many opportunities in life would be much harder to reach. 00:00:54
This idea comes from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 00:01:00
Education helps you discover who you are. 00:01:05
Let me ask you, what is your favorite subject in school? 00:01:10
Maybe it's math, maybe it's English, maybe it's science or sports. 00:01:17
Each subject teaches you something really important. 00:01:25
But remember, school is more than just books. It's a place where we learn to dream and respect each other. 00:01:31
Now think about this. What would you like to be when you grow up? 00:01:41
A doctor? A teacher? An artist? A football player? 00:01:50
Every child in the world deserves the chance to reach those goals. 00:01:58
Because according to the United Nations, education is a right, not a privilege. 00:02:04
Whatever your dream is, education helps you get there. 00:02:11
A lesson learned today is a step towards your future. 00:02:16
But sadly, not all children have this opportunity in life. 00:02:22
So, here's a question. Can you imagine your life without school? 00:02:26
It would be fantastic! No teachers, no books, but no classmates, no growth. 00:02:34
In some parts of the world, children cannot go to school. 00:02:45
Some have to work, others live too far away, and some are treated unfairly. 00:02:53
Experts at the United Nations say education is for everyone. 00:03:03
That is why the right to education is so important. 00:03:09
Now, let me ask you, what else do you learn at school besides subjects? 00:03:13
What else do you learn besides math, science, sports? 00:03:23
You also learn friendship, you learn respect, and last but not least, teamwork. 00:03:30
Now, here's something very important. 00:03:39
Education is your right, but also your responsibility. 00:03:45
So think about this. What can you do to be a better student? You can listen, try your best, and even help others. And one last question. What can you do starting today to improve? 00:03:52
Remember, every lesson you learn is a step towards your future. 00:04:18
You're not just students, you're the future. 00:04:27
Thank you very much. 00:04:34
