In this tutorial, we are going to be playing around with two cubes and see what we can do with them. 00:00:00
First of all, we are going to rename our document. 00:00:05
To do this, click here and we can rename it. 00:00:09
I will rename this Session 2. 00:00:13
Next, we can go ahead and select our two cubes. 00:00:18
We can change the colour by clicking on them and clicking over here and changing the colour. 00:00:29
We can do this for each one. 00:00:35
If we want to do something to the cubes but we want the exact same thing to happen to each one 00:00:37
We can select both of the cubes 00:00:45
To do this, hold down the mouse and select over the cubes like this 00:00:47
Now you can see they are both highlighted 00:00:52
If we move them around they stick together 00:00:54
They move at the same time 00:00:57
And we can change the height so both of them change together 00:00:59
Another way to do this is by clicking on one cube 00:01:04
pressing the shift button on your keypad and selecting the other cube 00:01:13
and here you can see it does the same thing 00:01:17
the next thing we can do is to align the cubes 00:01:20
so select the cubes and then click on the align button 00:01:27
now we can align the cubes in different ways 00:01:34
if we click on this one then it aligns it to the same height as the green cube 00:01:38
if we click on this one it aligns it to the same size as the yellow cube we can align it so that 00:01:44
they line in the middle and we can align it so that both the cubes are on top of each other in 00:01:54
the exact same position we can also place one cube on top of another cube to do this press the little 00:02:05
arrow and move it up 20 because we know that the cube is 20 millimeters high. Then if we move it 00:02:35
over we can see that it's on top but it's not directly on top. So if we select both of them 00:02:47
together and we click align we can align it so that the yellow box sits directly on top of the 00:02:54
green box. We can also make two cubes become one shape. Select them and click this button called 00:03:02
group. Now you can see that it's changed to one colour and it's become one shape. We move it around 00:03:19
it's one shape. We can change the height and it's one shape. To ungroup this select the shape 00:03:26
and select the button ungroup now you can see it's gone back to its original two cubes 00:03:40
