Hello, my name is Daniel and in this experiment I'm going to demonstrate how minerals grow. 00:00:03
First, I'm going to mix hot water with salt. 00:00:15
This is the hot water and now I put the salt. 00:00:23
It's important to stir very well. 00:00:52
Once it has been solved, I take a spoonful of the solution and I put it in a plate so that it can evaporate faster. 00:00:55
The evaporation takes several hours. 00:01:50
Here I have the plate with a crust of salt. 00:01:54
I'm going to pick a little crystal and tie up a thread around it. 00:02:14

And now I tie up the thread to a stick. 00:02:47
Finally I'm going to submerge the crystal into the solution. 00:02:52
Now I leave the crystal growing for at least 5 weeks. 00:03:15
