Today we're going to talk about the past simple. In the past simple, all pronouns use the same 00:00:02
form. So, I asked, you asked, he or she asked, it asked, we asked, and they asked are all the same. 00:00:11
Okay, rule number one. When a verb ends in a consonant, you add ed to the end. So, ask 00:00:24
turns into asked. Jump turns into jumped. Let's fill in the gaps with the past simple. 00:00:33

Rule number two. Verbs that end in E, you add a D. Like turns into liked. Love turns into loved. 00:01:26
