Activity designed for a group of students in Sciences Branch

This activity will be carried out with a group of 25 students from the Ferso Bacirato group from Science's branch. 00:00:00
The objective is to create a podcast explaining benefits versus dangers of cell phone usage in teenage years. 00:00:07
In the first part, students will need to bring a class-to-class snapshot of their cell phone usage, which will be later on used. 00:00:13
In the second part, students will consider different questions for their analysis. 00:00:21
In the third part, students will be split into two different groups, one in favour and 00:00:25
another one against using mobile phones, and they will need to gather data for their podcast, 00:00:31
so each group will read a different article. 00:00:36
The final product of this learning situation is to create a podcast to raise awareness 00:00:39
in younger students. 00:00:45
As to the attention to diversity, my students with hearing disorder will need to record 00:00:46
the video using sign language. 00:00:52
And for the assessment, it will be the use of a rubric to assess different aspects. 00:00:54
