Thank you. 00:00:03
Thank you. 00:00:38
Thank you. 00:01:14
Hello, how are you? 00:01:47
Ok, now I can see you. 00:01:53
Give me a second. 00:01:55
Now, ok, you didn't hear me, right? 00:01:57
No, I didn't hear you. 00:01:59
Ok, now I can hear you. 00:02:01
Ok, well, if you want, look, it would be, let's see, in the icon that says alternate shared screen, 00:02:18
then it will give you several options and you have to give the one of, well, the best is perhaps to share the entire screen, 00:02:25
because sometimes if you share only one window or the tab, 00:02:33
there are times when you can't hear the audio or you share only one of the parts. 00:02:37
Okay. 00:02:41
Let's see if it lets you. 00:02:43
Already? Can you see it? 00:02:45
Now I can see myself. 00:02:50
Ah, well, yes, it should be already, wait. 00:02:52
I'm going to remove my camera, maybe, or if not... 00:02:55
Now, if you enlarge your screen, it should... 00:02:58
I mean, if you have a presentation or whatever you're going to use. 00:03:02
Yes. 00:03:04
Okay, try to see if... Ah, okay, perfect. 00:03:05
Wait, I'm going to zoom in here. 00:03:07
There you go. 00:03:09
Okay, that's it. It's all yours. 00:03:12
Okay. 00:03:23
Seven minutes, right? 00:03:25
Let's see. 00:03:27
Officially, it would be, yes, 15, but I'm telling you, it could be more. 00:03:29
If you want, I'll let you know. 00:03:33
Because, theoretically, we can have a maximum of about 50 minutes for everything. 00:03:35
So, if you want to explain it calmly, there is time, okay? 00:03:40
Okay. 00:03:45
If not, I'll let you know. If I see that we're going to be late, I'll let you know. 00:03:46
Okay, well, my project consisted of creating a practical line for a Twitch channel. 00:03:51
In this case, it would be my Twitch channel, it would be for me. 00:04:05
Why did I choose this project? 00:04:14
I chose it mainly because it seems to me that it has interesting aspects both at the 00:04:17
work and professional level as well as at the personal level. 00:04:25
I am currently working in a digital marketing company in the social media department. 00:04:30
Specifically, I manage a YouTube channel. 00:04:37
So, although it is not exactly the same, it has similarities and I think I could apply the knowledge 00:04:42
both to get out of the project for work and vice versa and also at a personal level since I am 00:04:52
good as I usually upload on Twitch, so it is a platform with which I am familiarized and I 00:04:59
know more or less where 00:05:13
What objectives do I have with this project? 00:05:16
In principle, it is a project that is composed of many different aspects. 00:05:27
On the one hand, the emotes that do not have to do with the waiting screens and such, with different formats. 00:05:36
So the objective was to create a common aesthetic between all these different elements that had a coherence 00:05:43
and not only this common coherence and this aesthetic, but to create a brand that differentiates me 00:05:55
to the channel of the rest of the channels that already exist in Twitch, also achieving a representation of the streamer, 00:06:12
both the streamer and the community, and the type of content that could be found on this channel. 00:06:28
not necessarily making a direct representation of what is found, for example, in a video game, 00:06:38
with video game characters, but more like a general feeling of the type of environment that you can find on the channel. 00:06:50
Well, I started the project looking for ideas about the main theme that the whole project could have 00:07:01
and I ended up deducing, well, at first I thought of Gudomes, which is a series that the main plot revolves around, 00:07:14
It is based on the Christian religion, mythology, and the history of the Bible, and taking that as inspiration I decided to also base myself on Christian art, 00:07:27
not necessarily like this example, which is Byzantine, also something more modern, 00:07:51
but well, Christian religious iconography in general, especially related to the theme of the 00:07:59
angels, the hierarchy and all these things, and well, the aesthetic, the use of gold, 00:08:07
the meaning of colors and all this. And as for the style, I was looking for a style that was not so overloaded 00:08:17
as it can be, as maximalist as this style of religious art can be, I was looking to mix it 00:08:36
with something simpler. My main inspiration were the characters of Santi, or at least 00:08:46
a good example of what I had in mind, which are very simple designs with a simple line art and 00:08:55
and simple shapes, minimalist designs. 00:09:05
I had in mind to make a mix with all this. 00:09:15
And with all this in mind I designed the different elements 00:09:20
such as the canals' mascots, or, for example, the ones here. 00:09:30
The first thing I started designing were the mascots, or the characters, 00:09:37
since I knew it was going to be an element that would appear in different aspects of the project, 00:09:44
for example, the waiting screens or in the frames of the chat, and so on. 00:09:54
So, it was something that I had to have from the beginning. 00:10:03
At first, I thought about making them in a humanoid form, but then I decided to go with the solutions in animals. 00:10:07
Then, after this, when I already had the characters designed, I made the emotes, and once I had the emotes I went to the rest of the elements, 00:10:23
such as channel themes, channel banners, offline and waiting screens, camera and chat frames, and the channel currency. 00:10:43
I did all of this using Photoshop, which is the one that I use the most, but sometimes I used Krita as well. 00:10:59
And well, for the waiting screen I made the different frames, I made them in Photoshop and then I passed them through Sportea Premiere to edit the video. 00:11:14
Well, the biggest difficulty I could find was with the character design, because, as I said, it is an element that will appear in many different forms and in different formats, 00:11:31
The most problematic is the MOTE format, because it is a format that appears very small and that is in motion because messages are coming out and it does not give much time to see it, basically. 00:11:51
It is necessary to have as little information as possible but that at the same time the information it has transmits it well and transmits what the viewer wants to convey. 00:12:09
So, well, as I said before, I first thought about making them with humanoid shapes and with a chibi style, 00:12:28
with a big head and a small body, but I ended up discarding this idea because when I scaled them, 00:12:41
It seemed to me that I had too many details that were lost and that were not consistent with what was seen. 00:12:51
So I ended up singing for Super Animals, because the design is much simpler, it has many smaller elements, 00:13:01
what makes it look and distinguish itself better in smaller sizes 00:13:13
and because it seems to me that within the context of the platform it makes more sense 00:13:18
and it is something that the spectators may like more, which in the end is the objective, 00:13:23
it is something that they will use above all, that is, that they would use above all them 00:13:32
and well, it's one of the rewards that you get when you pay, so it has to be worth it, right? 00:13:37
So, that's it, I'll end up singing for these designs, because they make more sense within the, as I said, 00:13:49
the context of Twitch, because one of the most well-known and most famous pets is Pepo. 00:14:01
In fact, this is the top 15 most used mobs in this extension, and 9 of them are Pepo, 00:14:11
This pet is supposed to be a frog and it has very large eyes and a very large mouth, so it seems to me that this is one of the reasons why it has so much success within the community, 00:14:21
that it is a simple dress and the important elements that the information transmits are very large and works very well. 00:14:36
Well, these are the emotes that I have made smaller so that they can be seen a little more in context. 00:14:46
And as conclusions, if I have achieved my goals, looking in retrospect at the goals and expectations that I had 00:14:58
At the beginning of the project, I was quite satisfied with the visual and aesthetic aspect that has been achieved. 00:15:11
It has been a bit of a challenge to mix the religious theme, on the one hand, together with this popular series, 00:15:32
a minimalist children's aesthetic and it seems to me that all the elements, 00:15:52
both the palette of colors and the aesthetic, have been quite in line with each other and 00:16:00
and there they have a sense of thesis and, well, it would be useful. 00:16:10
Okay. 00:16:22
Okay, very good. 00:16:25
Nothing, I'm telling you, I ... wait, I'm going to put ... 00:16:28
Okay. 00:16:39
Okay, nothing, the only thing that has failed has been the follow-up. 00:16:41
For the rest, without fail, I see it well, I already say that it is a pity that we have not failed in this issue of doing the deliveries, but for the rest, how good, it turns out to be fine, according to what you had proposed. 00:16:44
And I was going to ask you a little bit, at the level of influences, at the level of aesthetics, 00:17:03
of what you have chosen, of personal tastes, of specific animated series and so on, 00:17:11
I don't know, of examples that you have out there. 00:17:16
Well, what I put in the project for the Serpent, well, when I saw the Robin Hood movie when I was little, 00:17:18
It is not a character that I like, but it is the way in which he moves, how he uses the body of the snake to make human decisions. 00:17:29
And that was an inspiration, especially to paint the tail, how to put a hand, the most expressive. 00:17:43
And that's not a character that I liked, but it caught my attention how the movement is and the expressiveness that it has. 00:17:59
Yes, yes, yes, it's fine. 00:18:06
Okay, very good. 00:18:08
And I was going to ask you then, 00:18:10
what about 00:18:12
the work and so on, 00:18:14
after the practices? 00:18:16
Ah, well, yes, 00:18:18
I don't know, very well, I'm 00:18:20
very happy, they are 00:18:22
giving me more and more 00:18:24
responsibilities and I'm learning 00:18:26
new things, so I'm 00:18:28
very happy. 00:18:30
At the beginning I was only doing 00:18:32
the animations, then I passed them on to another person, I included them in the videos and now I am the one who makes the animations and edits the videos. 00:18:34
Yes, they are giving you more things. 00:18:44
Very good, very good. 00:18:46
Well, that's great. 00:18:48
Well, I already tell you, this, the issue of the defenses and others, there will not be more people, well, the colleagues of the department and of image and sound. 00:18:50
and I imagine that as we are going to have presentations tomorrow and the day after, 00:19:00
I think we can publish the notes on Friday, I imagine. 00:19:06
If it can be before, we will let you know. 00:19:11
Let's see if I'm getting the hang of it, because we have the evaluations later. 00:19:17
Well, I'll let you know anyway. 00:19:22
I think it will be on Friday. If not, I'll let you know. If not, it could be for some reason that the evaluation is later. 00:19:25
Okay, no problem. 00:19:35
I think we can publish the notes of the projects for the video. 00:19:37
Okay. 00:19:41
Well, thank you very much. 00:19:42
You're welcome. 00:19:44
I hope everything goes well out there because of the cyber links and UNED. 00:19:45
You have more presentations, don't you? 00:19:51
Yes, there are two more left today. 00:19:54
Well, theoretically there would be four more, but I think the last two are not going to be presented. 00:19:58
It doesn't look like it. 00:20:06
Well, let's see then. 00:20:08
Yes, well, let's see how it goes. 00:20:10
If you finish before. 00:20:12
At the moment there is nothing to say. 00:20:14
Well, thank you very much. 00:20:16
You're welcome. 00:20:18
See you later. 00:20:19
See you later. 00:20:20
