Hello, my name is Alicia. 00:00:00
My name is Adriana. 00:00:02
My name is Alejandra. 00:00:04
Today we are going to talk about the relief of Spain. 00:00:06
In Spain, Spain is divided in three watersheds. 00:00:10
Atlantic Watershed, Guantanamo Watershed and Mediterranean Watershed. 00:00:18
A watershed is an area where rivers and streams flow into the sea. 00:00:23
Cantabrian watershed is the most little and it is the smallest in Spain. 00:00:34
The Atlantic watershed is the west and it is the largest, and the Mediterranean watershed is the south and it is the south. 00:00:55
Then we have three types of mountains. The mountains of the Inner Plateau, the mountains 00:01:16
surrounding the Inner Plateau and the mountains beyond the Inner Plateau. The mountains of 00:01:25
the Inner Plateau are Central Mountain Chain and the mountains of Toledo. The mountains 00:01:30
surrounding the Inner Plateau are Sierra Morena, Iberian Mountain Chain, Mountains of Leon 00:01:35
and Cantabrian range, and the mountain, Béjarne and El Prato are Galician Massif, Catania Coastal 00:01:46
Chain, Bétic Chain, Pyrenees and Catania Coastal Chain. 00:01:51
Now are we going to talk about the rivers. Rivers are continuous bodies of water that 00:02:07
usually start in the mountains. First, the rivers of the Cantabrian watershed. 00:02:17
These rivers are short and very steep and they carry a lot of water. We have the Eo, the Navia, 00:02:26
de Nalón, de Saja, de Salla, de Nerrión, de Deva and de Villasoa. 00:02:36
Then, second, the rivers of the Mediterranean watershed. 00:02:53
In the Mediterranean watershed, the majority of the rivers are shore. 00:02:57
The most important rivers are the Ebro, the Juca and the Segura. 00:03:03
Third, the rivers of the Atlantic watershed. 00:03:12
Its rivers are usually long and there are three main groups. 00:03:15
The rivers of Galicia. 00:03:20
The longest river in Galicia is the Dini, that is here. 00:03:22
And the rivers of the Inet Plateau. 00:03:27
These rivers are Duero, that is here, and the Anistributavis, Tormes and Pisuerga. 00:03:29
Then the Tahoe, Anistributavis, Alagón, Títan and Jarama, and the Guadiana, Anistributavis, Zújar and Tigüelo. 00:03:40
Rivers of Andalusia, the most important are the Guadalquivir and Estributari de Genil. 00:03:58
These blue parts surrounding Spain are oceans. 00:04:09
Atlantic, or Cantabrian Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. 00:04:17
Cantabrian coast is high and rocky with many creeks and streams. 00:04:24
The Atlantic coast is divided in three parts. 00:04:44
Galician coast, Andalusian coast and the coast of Canary Island. 00:04:50
The Mediterranean coast is the longest and shortest. 00:05:05
There are four areas. Andalusia, Andalusia, Andalusia, region of Mufti, Catalan or Balearic 00:05:14
island and the coast of Ceuta and Merida. Spain has two archipelago, the Balearic Islands and the 00:05:42
Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are situated in the west of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. 00:05:54
The main islands are La Palma, El Hierro, La Gomera, Tenerife, 00:06:04
Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. 00:06:10
These ice lands are volcanic. 00:06:15
This means that they are formed by lava from volcanoes. 00:06:18
The relief is very mountainous. 00:06:22
Most of Monte Aire in Tenerife is the highest peak in Spain. 00:06:25
And in La Palma, the Cumbre Vieja volcano is wrapped in it. 00:06:30
In the Mediterranean Sea, we have the Balearic Islands. 00:06:34
This archipelago is known by five main islands, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera, and other little islands. 00:06:38
In Mallorca, the biggest one, we have the Teide. 00:06:52
No, we have the Letra Montana. 00:06:56
The Letra Montana range, the main mountain range. 00:07:01
And this is all you have to know about the release of Spain. Thanks for listening. 00:07:08
