Hello and welcome to my video. Today we will be doing Social Sciences 5, Unit 5, Lesson 4. 00:00:00
I hope you can handle this lesson or maybe I can give you a hand. 00:00:11
Anyways, first I want to tell you the rules of this game. 00:00:17
As you see, I have made this game here and we have two questions. 00:00:22
each question has three answer options and one one of those answers is right from the book so 00:00:27
I hope you're doing your reading because then you'll know exactly which one is correct that 00:00:39
means that two answers are incorrect. Are we ready to play? Alright, first question. 00:00:46
What was an important building in the city to many of the people in Al-Andalus? 00:00:57
okay so read the question very carefully what was an important building that's 00:01:10
the first part and the second part is too many other people so not just one 00:01:19
person or two people this is many other people and if you did your reading this 00:01:24
should be really simple okay a most people were Muslims the mosque was an 00:01:31
important building in the city. Okay, that could be correct. It sounds correct, but let's move on 00:01:39
to B. B. There were many merchants. The local Sabadell Bank was an important building in the 00:01:47
city. Hmm, that doesn't sound right. C. There were many farmers. A farm was an important building 00:01:56
in the city? Well, I guess that could be right because a farm, since there's a lot of farmers, 00:02:07
would be important. But I think we can just say no to B. But wait, is a farm in a city? 00:02:14
hmm nope so that leaves us with a most people were muslims the mosque was an important building 00:02:26
in the city did you get that one right question two what were some of the rights of the christians 00:02:38
and Jews? A. The Christians and the Jews had the same rights as the Muslims. Did they? 00:02:53
We'll have to think about that. B. The Christians and Jews were allowed to practice their religion. 00:03:06
that seems like that's a right hmm or c the christians and jews could not carry weapons 00:03:13
does that seem like a right or does that seem like something that they can't do 00:03:24
so they didn't have the same rights but now is this a right or is this a right 00:03:33
not doing something. Nope. So B, the Christians and Jews were allowed to practice their religion. 00:03:43
All right. I hope we had fun here in my game today. I will see you next time in the next video. 00:03:55
Goodbye. 00:04:05
