This learning situation is called Record a TikTok interview and it is aimed for students 00:00:03
that are in the third year of compulsory secondary education, which are supposed to have an A2 plus level. 00:00:07
For successfully developing the specific competences and acquiring the chosen content, 00:00:12
students will work collaboratively to script and record an interview to a famous English-speaking celebrity. 00:00:16
They will be given a handout with roles that they will need to divide among the members of the group 00:00:22
depending on their skills and weaknesses. 00:00:26
In this sense, the best way of personalising this activity and attending to diversity would 00:00:27
be creating groups that favour a positive interdependence so that students can help 00:00:32
each other reach their full potential. 00:00:35
This is a very rich activity based on active methodologies such as social interaction and 00:00:37
collaborative learning, skills integration, process-oriented instruction, learner-centredness 00:00:42
or teaching English beyond linguistic learning. 00:00:46
The activity will be assessed by means of a rubric which will be used for teacher assessment 00:00:48
but also for the students' self and co-assessment. 00:00:52
Finally, students will have to do a metacognitive reflection for them to be aware of their own learning process. 00:00:55
