Hi guys, today we are going to talk about adjectives. 00:00:00
So first of all, what is an adjective? 00:00:09
An adjective is a word that describes a noun. 00:00:12
For example, in English we have I'm reading an interesting book, elephants are big, I 00:00:15
bought a red car. 00:00:23
So the main differences between English and Spanish adjectives would be that in English 00:00:30
the adjectives almost always go before the noun. 00:00:39
We say a red car instead of a car red. 00:00:43
So in English we also have a fixed order that we must follow although most of native 00:00:49
speakers don't do it. 00:00:56
The shape and age can be changed in position. 00:00:58
So here you have a list of the nine main types of adjectives. 00:01:09
How about this would be the fixed order? 00:01:17
For instance, the first adjective would be an adjective related to giving an opinion. 00:01:21
The second one about size, length and height. 00:01:29
The third one about physical quality. 00:01:33
Next we will come the adjectives regarding age, shape and color. 00:01:36
And the last three types of adjectives would be the origin, material or purpose adjectives. 00:01:46

We are going to prepare a list with the main adjectives in English and their translation 00:02:01
