Hello everyone! Let's introduce the relative pronouns. When we give 00:00:00
information about people we have to use who or that. We use who when we are 00:00:06
talking about people, not things. In this case we use who or that instead of he, 00:00:13
she, they. Let's look at examples. Example 1. He is the boy. He started at our 00:00:19
school last month. He refers to the boy. He is the boy. Who is the pronoun that 00:00:27
replaces he. He is the boy who started at our school last month or he is a boy 00:00:36
that started at our school last month. That can also replace people, animals or 00:00:44
things. Another example. Explorers are people. They travel the world. They refer 00:00:52
to people. Who is the pronoun that replaces they. Explorers are people who 00:01:01
travel the world. Explorers are people that travel the world. What happens when 00:01:09
we talk about animals or things we have to use which or that. We use which when 00:01:16
we are talking about things or animals. In this case we use which or that 00:01:24
