Yes, it's a pleasure for me too. Tonight's gonna be a great night.
00:00:26
I agree.
00:00:30
Okay, did you... Shall I start the interview?
00:00:31
Yes, of course.
00:00:35
Did you want to be an author when you were younger?
00:00:37
Yes. I've ever wanted to be an author as long as I can remember.
00:00:41
English was my favorite subject at school.
00:00:46
And why did I went on to do a Friends Daily if anyone's guest?
00:00:49
Okay, and where did the idea of Harry Potter came from?
00:00:57
There was any boyfriend who inspired you?
00:01:03
No, no, I think it was just my imagination.
00:01:10
Are you interested in writing books for adults as well?
00:01:14
Well, my first two novels which I never tried to get published were for adults. I suppose that I might write another one, but I never think the public is going to be, but I never imagine a target audience when I'm writing. If the idea comes and I decide what I'm going to write and then I write it.
00:01:18
Okay, very interesting. And what books do you enjoy reading?
00:01:42
My favorite writer is Jane Austen. I've read all of her books so I don't remember how many.
00:01:49
Yes, I agree with you. She is a very interesting author. And tell me, has your life changed since you are the richest woman in the United Kingdom?
00:01:58
Well, I think that money doesn't change a person and money doesn't give happiness to anyone. You have to make your own happiness.
00:02:10
Okay, and tell me more about your organization in Africa that helps children to get books.
00:02:22
Well, I think that education is the most powerful weapon to change the future.
00:02:30
Ok, and how do you think your books have influenced in children's life?
00:02:35
Well, I think that my books influenced children in the way that children can go to another universe when they have problems or just because they want to have fun and just by reading them they can have them.
00:02:41
Okay, and how about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? Have you any plans for your future apart from that?
00:02:58
Well, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has got a lot of success in cinemas and I can't wait to see the second part.
00:03:08
Our audience must be wondering where did you start writing and what did you write when you were younger?
00:03:18
Well, my first book was when I was around 6 years old and it was about a rabbit called
00:03:27
Rabbit.
00:03:36
Very imaginative.
00:03:37
I've been guiding ever since.
00:03:38
And what about your future plans?
00:03:44
Well, now that I've written a lot of books, I want to spend time with my family and especially
00:03:47
with my daughter.
00:03:56
And do you think you are a hero to those children that read your books?
00:03:57
Well, I don't consider myself a hero. I think that I do as much as I can.
00:04:04
And in my career as an author, my main aim is to get children to love reading.
00:04:10
And now I have my friend the sorting hat to play our game.
00:04:16
I'm going to tell you the rules of this game.
00:04:21
game I'm gonna tell you famous people and you have to guess his houses
00:04:24
Gryffindor Ravenclaw Slytherin or Hufflepuff okay I think I'll deal with it
00:04:30
okay let's see okay me Jimmy Fallon oh I'm going to take the hat and see if it
00:04:37
can help me. I think that you are Hufflepuff. Yes. Oh really? Hufflepuff? Yes. And now Leonardo
00:04:46
Dicaprio. Oof, difficult. Gryffindor? No, it's Hufflepuff. Thank you. And Neil Horan.
00:05:04
Revenclaw? Yes! And now Emma Stone.
00:05:17
Slytherin? No, she's Gryffindor!
00:05:26
And now Kristen Stewart. Gryffindor?
00:05:34
No, it's glittering. Oh, you are so bad.
00:05:40
Oh no, my fans are going to kill me.
00:05:47
Yeah, that's right. And now I have to say goodbye to our favourite author in the UK. Bye bye, GK.
00:05:52
I hope you had a good night with all of us and I hope you come here soon too.
00:06:03
