Hi, this is a short little video saying farewell for the summer for my second of SO students. 00:00:00
I wanted to take this opportunity, unfortunately, because I can't say farewell in person, 00:00:09
to wish you guys a wonderful summer and to thank you, honestly, from the bottom of my heart for 00:00:15
a wonderful year. Whether it was too hot outside or too cold outside or super early in the morning, 00:00:21
you guys managed to rally so much energy and so much attention to presentations and to classes 00:00:31
week after week. I appreciated your individual unique personalities so much and I really liked 00:00:40
getting to know you guys this year um it was it was honestly a great year and I really appreciate 00:00:48
that you guys paid attention to all of the presentations and found a way to get so personally 00:00:55
invested in them as well um whether it was the ecological footprint presentation uh where you 00:01:02
guys were so excited and so like just rambunctious when we when we found out um different people's 00:01:08
ecological footprints and how many planets we would all need if we lived at 00:01:16
the rate that we were doing now and the conversations that we had after things 00:01:21
like that whether it was the debate topics that we chose about aliens and 00:01:26
flying trash to the Sun I feel like that was something we talked about as well or 00:01:31
honestly just talking to you guys one-on-one asking you questions and 00:01:38
getting to know you better or the Black Friday presentation and the video we 00:01:43
watched of crazy Americans on Black Friday and the conversations that we had 00:01:49
after that that were both like super fun and super interesting and also about 00:01:55
serious topics. I really liked getting to know you guys and I'm so proud of all of 00:02:00
the work that you've done this past year. I hope that you have great summers 00:02:05
hopefully with your family and are able to enjoy some of the small freedoms that 00:02:11
we have now after all this time and I really look forward to seeing you guys 00:02:16
as third of SO students next year and until then I wish you all health and 00:02:21
safety and your families as well. Bye! 00:02:30
