We have three types of string instruments, the bowed string instruments, the plucked string

and the struck string. In the bowed string instrument we find the violin, the viola,

the cello and the double bass. All these instruments are played by a bow.

In the plucked string instruments we find the guitar and the harp and these instruments are plucked by the fingers, the strings are plucked by the fingers.

And the third family or the third type of group is the stroke string and indeed in that we are going to find the piano.

and all of them, except the guitar, form part of the symphony orchestra.

The most common instruments that we find there in the symphony orchestra are the bow and string instruments,
