This is an activity for students of first bachillerato. It is called the newsroom project. It is divided in four steps. In the first step, or first session, students will come up with several headlines using the passive voice. They will come up with these headlines individually. 00:00:00
Then, after this activity, they will break up the session into several groups and select 00:00:18
the best headlines to write pieces of news in the following session. 00:00:24
In the second session, they will write their pieces of news and help each other doing brainstorming. 00:00:29
In the third step, they will proofread their pieces of news to see if they spot any mistakes 00:00:35
