Hello, my name is Prince and this is my classmate, Adriana, and we are going to talk about the parts of the platelet system.
00:00:01
As you can see, this is our body.
00:00:10
The function of the platelet system is to carry nutrients and oxygen to the cells and to collect waste substances from our body.
00:00:13
It consists of the heart, the blood, and the whole process.
00:00:22
The heart. The heart is an organ located in the deep cage between our lungs. It's an organ made up of muscles that contracts and relax. It has four parts, two arteries and two verticals. This is our heart.
00:00:25
There are three types of blood vessels. Arteries, veins, and catheters. The first type is arteries. Arteries leave the ventricles. They carry blood from the heart to the rest of the body. Veins enter into the atria. They carry blood from the body to the heart. The last one is catheters, the bridge of the thirst.
00:00:43
Blood. Blood is a red liquid inside our body. It is made up of plasma, platerates, white blood cells and red blood cells.
00:01:09
Plasma is a liquid that eats mostly water. It contains the blood cells. Platerates are fragments of cells.
00:01:22
White blood cells protect the body against infections. And red blood cells don't have a nucleus and they carry oxygen.
00:01:30
These are the components of blood. It is 55% plasma, 1% of blood and its avoidable cells, and 44% of red blood cells.
00:01:38
Thank you for listening.
