In the 16th and 17th centuries, Spain was ruled by the Habsburg dynasty. 00:00:15
Carlos I and Felipe II were the most important Habsburg kings. 00:00:21
In their reigns, Spain became an enormous international empire. 00:00:28
In the 18th century, Spain was ruled by the Bourbon dynasty. 00:00:33
Felipe V and Carlos III were the most important Bourbon kings. 00:00:37

Today I'm going to tell you some curiosities and gossips about the kings who ruled Spain 00:00:45
from the 16th until the 18th centuries, the Habsburgs and the Bourbons. 00:00:51
Let's start with the Habsburgs. 00:00:57
It is known by all the characteristics all the kings in this dynasty had in common. 00:00:59
Known as the Habsburg jaw, which consisted of a facial deformity in the jaw due to inbreeding, 00:01:06
