Hello everyone, we are Celia and Zaffa and today we are going to talk about one of the most famous Greek myths, the one of Hercules or Heracles. 00:00:00
There are many versions. 00:00:10
There is one of them which says that Hercules was the son of Zeus and Alcmin, the princess of Zeus. 00:00:12
Hera, Zeus' wife, was envious of him because he was the son of another woman. 00:00:19
That's why she sent two snakes to him and his twin brother Scrib when he was a baby, but Hercules managed to strangle the snake. 00:00:24
So when Eurystheus, the king of Greece, wanted to banish Amphitryon, the king of thieves, Hercules offered to do ten very dangerous jobs in ninety-nine months. 00:00:34
