This is something that I have a lot of experience in. 00:00:22

also at Harmonix, 00:00:27
the makers of Guitar Hero Rock Band and Dance Central. 00:00:28
I've worked for Disney, 00:00:32
I've worked for Warner Brothers, 00:00:33
Microsoft, and Red Bull, 00:00:34
all doing some digital interactive immersive worlds. 00:00:36
So, this course will be about Unity, which is one of the most popular tools for creating immersive worlds today. 00:00:40
We'll learn a bit about the best practices of how to create your own virtual world, 00:00:47
how to use the lessons that other people have taught us over the years of how to create effective immersive spaces. 00:00:51
We'll learn how to create our own space, first of all, populated with an avatar that the player can play a role through to interact with the world, 00:00:58
how to add your own objects to the world, how to import objects from the Unity Asset Store, 00:01:06
how to add effective lighting to your world so that it is both functional and dramatic, 00:01:12
how to add sound to your world so that it is sonically immersive for the player, 00:01:18
and then of course finally how to export it so that it can be played by anyone that you wish. 00:01:22
