Hi everyone! I'm going to show you a simple science experiment about density. 00:00:00
We need water, an empty glass, good colouring, syrup, oil, a solid thing, a grape, a plastic ball and a sponge. 00:00:07
Take an empty glass and put it in some water, add food colouring, add some salt. 00:00:27
Finally, I'm going to add a little bit more water to make the layer a bit thick. 00:00:57
Fill the glass up with some oil. 00:01:15
Leave it to settle for about 15 minutes. 00:01:20

This liquid separates out into different layers because they have different densities and they don't mix. 00:01:46

This metal is really dense. You can see it sinks to the bottom. This grape 00:02:02
throws the oil in water but sits on the syrup because the syrup is denser than 00:02:27
