Second, the government takes away a lot of money from online gambling, but this is not a fair way to raise money as you are worsening the health of the society in exchange just for obtaining benefits. 00:00:20
And finally, you said that it will increase the taxes so the economy of Spain will decrease. We all agree on that. 00:00:41
But the health of the society will also improve. 00:00:50

1. The increase in addiction to online gambling. 00:01:04
Online gambling is one of the most addictive games. 00:01:07
Due to its immediacy and accessibility, there has been a decrease in the average age of players. 00:01:09
Nowadays, there is an epidemic of addiction to online gambling among teenagers. 00:01:15

Gambling is easier to do and will encourage lots of new people to place bets, so dramatically will multiply in harm. 00:01:25
As it is shown in this graphic, since online gambling has been legalized, it has increased the amount of money that is dedicated to online gambling. 00:01:32

By making online gambling legal, we are worsening its effects on the population. 00:01:52

2. The negative effects of online gambling 00:01:59
The most underrated age group by online gambling are young people. 00:02:02
They do not have the mental maturity to know how much money they can use or when to stop yet. 00:02:05
Online gambling has caused negative consequences in three aspects. 00:02:10

The social consequences consist of social isolation, decreasing academic or labor efficiency, etc. 00:02:21
