okay in this photo um i see i think four friends and i think they're friends because they don't 00:04:11
look very similar to me um they all seem to be maybe in their 20s um and they're sitting at a 00:04:19
table that has different plates um i see like a pizza and some small um appetizers that they 00:04:28
could be eating. It seems like maybe it's a little bit cold outside because they're all wearing 00:04:38
jackets, so it could be maybe the autumn or the winter. It looks like they're up maybe on a 00:04:45
rooftop or on a balcony or something because I can see in the background some trees and a building 00:04:53
across the street. It looks like they're talking, they're having some drinks with what they're 00:05:00

and what they are going to do. Begin. I'll go first. Okay, so I want to say the idea that I like 00:06:14
the least is to go to the cinema because i think that at the cinema um you can't really talk to 00:06:27
each other so i don't think that it would be a good idea for a first date what do you think 00:06:36
i agree okay i feel like i would want to get to know the person and at the cinema you would 00:06:40
have to stay quiet while you watch the the movie so I think I would prefer to go somewhere like 00:06:49
a restaurant where it is not very noisy and you can hear the other person speaking and you have 00:06:58
the opportunity to ask a lot of questions that's a good point I really like that idea and even 00:07:08
better I think could be really fun to go to the park and maybe you can have a picnic together in 00:07:16
the park you can walk around enjoy nature you still eat together but then you have the chance 00:07:22
to talk to each other at the same time do you like that idea I don't mind that idea but I would 00:07:28
prefer to stay at home or at one of our houses to sit and talk because I don't 00:07:36
like all the bugs in the park that if you're having a picnic a lot of the time 00:07:45
there are flies they try and eat your food so I would prefer to make some food 00:07:53
at home and talk to the person there I think the environment is calmer and it's 00:08:00
maybe not as cold or windy yeah I think those are really good points but on the 00:08:11
one and on the one hand I think it could be really comfortable to be in your 00:08:19
house but on the other hand maybe if you're going on a date it should be 00:08:23
something more original than to sit in your house. Maybe that's something that you do after you know 00:08:28
the person a little bit better. So that's why I think like maybe going to a restaurant could be 00:08:34
more fancy and more romantic than if you were to sit in your house. But you know, if you do 00:08:40
something like this first, and then later you want to watch a movie or something, it could be a good 00:08:47
setting to do that what do you think about going to a club or to go dancing I 00:08:52
don't like the idea of going to a club or going dancing because it's the same 00:08:58
as the cinema you don't really get to talk to the person it's too loud there's 00:09:04

you say is your favorite? I think my two favorites that I'm choosing between are the restaurant and 00:09:27
the park. The reason why I like the park is because I think nature is very beautiful, it's very 00:09:35
romantic. It can be really relaxing and a good place to get to know someone. But I also think 00:09:41
that a restaurant is a little more romantic. And if the boy, for example, wants to show the girl 00:09:48
something very like, you know, a very nice dinner or something, it could be good to go to a 00:09:55
restaurant. So I'm sort of choosing between the two, but I think I'm leaning more towards the 00:10:00
park because I just prefer to be in nature okay well I think those ideas are very good 00:10:07
but I probably would not want to go to the restaurant because it's a lot of money um and also 00:10:15
whilst I think the restaurant is better than the cinema and the club I still would prefer 00:10:24
somewhere like my house or their house because i just think that it's calmer it's more quiet 00:10:32
there's less people um and like i said with the park there wouldn't be as much problem with the 00:10:41
wind or the cold or bugs so i think i would prefer to go and have the date at my house 00:10:50
Okay, yeah, I understand your your reasons. So for that, I think we can agree to disagree. I'll choose the park and then you choose to stay at home. Okay, perfect. So now I'm going to ask you some questions that you will discuss together. Okay, number one. Do you prefer indoor or outdoor activities? And why? 00:11:00
i prefer indoor activities usually because i don't like being with big groups of people or 00:11:26
around big groups of people and a lot of the time the weather i don't trust it's either too cold 00:11:37
or too warm or too windy for me it's difficult to say because i really like to spend time outside 00:11:45
in nature but sometimes I agree I think it can be too cold or too hot especially in Spain 00:11:54
so I really do enjoy to spend time at home as well and to do activities by myself like making 00:12:01
crafts doing crochet watching tv so I think I like a balance of the two things awesome okay 00:12:10
number two at what type of restaurant do you prefer to eat i prefer to eat at maybe a chinese 00:12:21
restaurant or a restaurant that serves a lot of tapas because those are my favorite kinds of things 00:12:35
or food to eat um what about you i also really like chinese food and i also really like japanese 00:12:42
food because I like sushi and ramen and I think when I go to a restaurant I prefer to eat at a 00:12:50
place that makes food that I can't prepare myself so I think like sushi is something I don't know 00:12:58
how to make so that's why I like to go to a Japanese restaurant for example and you like the 00:13:04
cold food like how sushi is called sometimes that's why I don't go to a sushi restaurant 00:13:11
because when i go to a restaurant i want to eat warm food instead of cold that's why ramen is 00:13:17
very delicious because it's warm so to have like a balance of the cold food and also some hot food 00:13:24
is very delicious awesome perfect and number three do you prefer watching movies at the cinema 00:13:30
or at home well for me personally I prefer watching movies at home because when I go to 00:13:38
the cinema it makes me feel a little nervous because everything is very dark and the screen 00:13:48
is very big and bright and it can be too much for me sometimes because maybe there are moments in 00:13:57
the movie i do not want to see and if i'm at home i can leave the room but if i'm in the cinema i 00:14:05
cannot do that and that's why i would prefer to watch movies at home what about you riley 00:14:12
i feel like sometimes i really enjoy going to the cinema especially if there is a new movie that i 00:14:19
want to see with my friends because i really like the snacks that they sell at the movies like the 00:14:26
popcorn and the candy and the drinks but also I agree I really like to watch horror movies 00:14:32
and I think watching a horror movie in the cinema can be very scary because it's dark and you're 00:14:39
around strangers so sometimes for a movie like that I like to be in the comfort of my house 00:14:45
and to maybe be with my roommates or my friends to watch them but yeah like sometimes I like to 00:14:51
see the new movies when I go with my friends but other times it's more comfortable to be at home 00:15:00
watching them a lot of my friends prefer the movies because of the experience for me personally 00:15:06
I don't really care but is that how you feel when you go to the movies yeah I feel like sometimes 00:15:14
especially if the movie is a really good one that it's meant to be seen in a very big screen 00:15:20
And so if you're at home and you're watching it on a small TV, you don't have the full experience that you would have with the big screen in the cinema and the sounds that they have in the cinema as well. 00:15:27
So I don't know. I think there's something to enjoy about both. 00:15:40

it would be better next time to use the clothing to talk about things like the weather if they were 00:16:25
used if they were wearing short sleeves you could talk about how that meant it was hot outside or 00:16:32
cold outside whatever they were wearing and for riley i think you could talk more about what was 00:16:38
what was the food that they were eating talk about the different types of plates what was on the plate 00:16:43
and things like that so still very good for number three i think it was great the way that you guys 00:16:50
discussed about the fort the first date um even if you guys did not come to a consensus over one 00:16:58
topic. You were able to communicate to each other, to agree, to disagree, which is super important 00:17:06
in dialogue. You were respectful and it was very clear. For number four, I think you guys had a 00:17:13
great conversation, a great dialogue. You asked each other questions, great pronunciation and 00:17:22
fluency in your questions and your answers overall you can really understand both of your guys's sides 00:17:28
and where you are coming from and your opinion which is super important so i think you did very 00:17:38
