So there are some software which is commercial and you must pay to use them. 00:00:34
But on the other hand, you can also have open software that you can change if you want, and usually it is free. 00:00:44
Apart from this, software can be very basic, operating system, application, or it can also be programs. 00:00:55
In this unit, we are going to use an operating system, which is the software that let us use the computers, its hardware, and also the application and the organization of our digital production. 00:01:09
Its main functions are obviously manage the hardware, manage the drivers of our hardware, 00:01:30
and always the store information, the documents that we had produced using computer. 00:01:43
And obviously nowadays it's also very, very important to share communications and to let 00:01:50
connect our computer with other computers in order to work in it. 00:01:59
