We're going to be playing Chincho, and in order to play the most common variant of the game, you'll have to own a deck of Spanish cards. 00:00:00
Now, out of this deck, you may substitute any cards valid at 8 and 9 points, and also be joked. 00:00:07
The objective of the game is to combine 6 total cards. 00:00:14
Now, this can be done either by combining a series of consecutive cards of the same suit, or a series of same-valued cards of different suits. 00:00:18
These combinations have to be at least three cards long. 00:00:28
The card distribution goes like this. 00:00:32
Each player must take a card. 00:00:34
We reveal both values of the cards. 00:00:36
The player with the highest value card, in this case my opponent, is called Hand. 00:00:43
The person to the left, Hand, is the one who will shuffle out the cards. 00:00:50
And now my opponent can begin playing, but only after I've placed this card marking the beginning of the pile. 00:00:57
The cycle of the game goes like this. Once a player reaches his turn, he must take a card from the stack and choose one of his cards to place on top of the pile. 00:01:06
This can be, as in this example, the card that he's gotten. 00:01:20
Now, if he wanted to close off the round, he would take one of these cards and then 00:01:25
place it upside down on top of the pile. 00:01:34
And now the counting process can begin. 00:01:37
Once our rounds have been closed and both hands are revealed, we can choose a spare 00:01:40
card from the opponent to extend an already existing combination of our own. 00:01:47
counting process can begin. This is the deciding factor of the game as the goal is to not reach 00:01:54
a certain number after a series of rounds. Let's imagine the example of the number being 00:02:00
100. Now, we've got to learn the rules of counting, summing and subtracting. Now, if 00:02:05
a combination, which remember has to be at least 3 cards long, isn't a consecutive series 00:02:16
of 7 cards of the same suit, then we don't do anything, we sum 0 points. 00:02:23
Now if it's the previously mentioned example, we subtract 20 points from our score, and 00:02:30
if we manage to combine all 7 cards in our hand, then we subtract 10 points. 00:02:36
Now in this example we have a character in the card. 00:02:42
Now, the value is 10, but since it is a character and all character cards are valued at 10, we sum 10 points to our score. 00:02:50
Now, in this case, if my opponent had a card valued at 2, he will sum 2 points to his score. 00:03:00
And after a series of rounds, a winner will do rise. 00:03:10
