Okay, so in the early modern age, started in 1492, in this year was when Columbus discovered America, okay? 00:00:45
And during this period, a lot of explorers discovered many, many new places, okay? 00:01:02
In this period of time, people were curious about new lands, the other part of the world, okay? 00:01:10

So in Spain, the name was different, but was a really, really important period of time 00:01:47

So in this period of time, we have explorers that discovered new places 00:02:00
and also was very important for art and literature. 00:02:07
Okay, as I told you, the explorers discovered a lot of new places 00:02:13
and Spain was a really, really huge empire, okay? 00:02:24
So Spain conquered many lands in America, Asia and Africa 00:02:32
and established a big empire so as you can see here in the picture the red the red lands the 00:02:37
lands colored in red was spanish ones okay so as you can see it's not only spain as we know today 00:02:47
we have new lands in america in south america in asia okay so spain was a really big empire 00:02:56
And the second period of time, the modern age, started in 1789, and during the 19th century, there were many important changes and inventions, okay? 00:03:06
And this period of time is called the Industrial Revolution, okay? 00:03:27
Because many factories appeared, new machines appeared, okay? 00:03:33
Appeared, so this is the reason because it's called Industrial Revolution, okay? 00:03:39
Also, one of the most famous and important inventions was the steam trains. 00:03:46
trains that could move with a steam okay so it's a really really important invention for this time 00:03:55
what else so and during the 20th century people live very in in better conditions 00:04:07
okay because new machines appears for washing for cleaning for cooking making our life 00:04:17
easier okay also cars trains planes were invented so people can move easily okay to one place for 00:04:25
